Abstract Form

OXFORD  OPHTHALMOLOGICAL  CONGRESS ABSTRACT FORM 3rd - 6th JULY 2011

Abstracts should not exceed 250 words and should be typed below. They should form a definitive statement in their own right and should follow the scheme - Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion (or Significance) but without headings. Statements such as "the results will be discussed" are not acceptable. Single Case Reports should not be submitted.

All abstracts accepted for the Congress will be presented as Posters. Selected posters may also be considered for Rapid Fire presentations by ticking the box; the first named Author will read the paper. Hospitals (and addresses) of all Authors should be indicated, if different from the first Author.

If your abstract has been accepted for another national meeting it must be withdrawn from the Oxford Congress.

When your abstract has been accepted for the Congress, you must undertake to present the paper or ensure that a co-author presents the work. Your Consultant should endorse this. Please ring the Conference Organizer if you have any queries on 01564 777074.

Please tick one of the boxes below to categorize your abstract as either "Clinical Research" or "Laboratory Research". Click the "submit query" button at the bottom of the page to send your Abstract direct to the Editor. Your submission will be acknowledged by e-mail. If acknowledgement is not received within one week of submission, please contact the Conference Organizer on e-mail o_o_c@btinternet.com or telephone 01564-777074. All submissions will be presented to Council for marking; the first named author will be informed by e-mail by the end of February of the result. If no contact has been made by the Conference Organizer by the end of February please contact her using the above contact details.

Papers read and posters presented at the Oxford Congress may be submitted to EYE for publication by visiting the Website http://www.nature.com/eye
