PRESENTATION CRITERIA
All presentations will be loaded onto a single PC, (show PC), for the duration of the Congress. This show PC will be located backstage and will be controlled by an Istead technician. Each presenter will be able to project his/her PowerPoint slides via a hand held radio cue system. (Should the presenter need to return to previous slides, this information will have to be verbalised to the technician at the time). Presentations cannot be run from the speaker's own lap top.
All presentations need to be created in Microsoft PowerPoint. Please be aware that our show PC will be running PowerPoint XP as a minimum. Any presentations created in previous versions of PowerPoint may have compatibility issues, particularly with transitions. Adherence to the presentation deadline will allow Istead to run through each presentation and check for any erroneous transfer.
For Guest Speakers only: Istead have the facility to play video in the following formats.
(Please note: Rapid Fire Presenters will not be able to use video).
- PowerPoint embedded M-PEG
- DVD
- VHS
- SVHS
Any other format will need to be notified to Istead as soon as possible, including the use of MACs.
Istead will have two PC's backstage, loaded with all presentations for speakers to run through their PowerPoint slides prior to making their presentation. A second Istead technician will be available in this area to assist, if required.
RAPID FIRE presentations should be received no later than WEDNESDAY 15th JUNE 2011. Please send your presentation direct to Istead:-

Please head your presentation with the time you have been issued from the Conference Organizer, eg OOC Rapid Fire 9.30 am.
