Conference

The Oxford Ophthalmological Congress is the 2nd largest ophthalmological meeting held in the United Kingdom, attracting approximately 500 delegates each year. It is held in Oxford, with accommodation in one of the famous colleges. The Cotswolds and Stratford-upon-Avon are easily accessible.

The Annual Meeting takes place from the first Sunday in July through to the following Wednesday.  The conference is held in The Oxford Playhouse, Beaumont Street, Oxford. Optic (UK) has kindly agreed to sponsor a Commercial Exhibition in the Randolph Hotel (next door to the Playhouse).  The Exhibition will open at 10.00 am on Monday 4th July and close at 4.00 pm on Tuesday 5th July 2011. The Poster Exhibition will take place in the Taylor Institute,  Beaumont Street (opposite the Randolph Hotel).

Non members:  The Congress is open to members only - if you are not a member, please tick the appropriate Box on the Booking Form and add £25.00 to your fee to automatically become a member.


A presentation takes place on Wednesday to present The Founder's Cup and The Ian Fraser Cup for the two best posters, the decision for this being taken by Members of Council.
